I work mainly in Node.js, Express and PostgreSQL — REST and GraphQL APIs, JWT/RBAC auth, Redis caching, RabbitMQ queues. I've also built an industrial backend that reads live calibration data off energy meters over TCP and serial, byte by byte. On the frontend I use React and TypeScript when the job calls for it.

Projects
Two systems that cover the two ends of what I build — hard real-time hardware I/O, and data-heavy business logic.
- Ran a dual-server setup — a raw TCP listener alongside Express/Socket.IO — to handle multiple meter connections and stream live calibration data to the frontend.
- Wrote a custom binary frame parser with Node's Buffer APIs to decode voltage, current, gain and phase data, including IEEE 754 float-to-hex conversion and CRC16 validation.
- Built CRUD REST APIs for test parameters on SQLite3, with dynamic IP management and PM2-driven remote restarts for device configuration.
- Handled reconnects, malformed frames and timing edge cases — the parts of hardware integration that don't show up in the spec.

- Designed REST and GraphQL APIs for nested project hierarchies — projects → task groups → tasks → subtasks → issues.
- Added Redis caching for high-frequency reads and RabbitMQ for asynchronous activity logging, so writes never wait on logging.
- Normalized PostgreSQL schemas for hierarchical project and multi-variant inventory data, with proper referential integrity throughout.
- Wrapped inventory movements in ACID transactions to rule out partial updates, and automated deadline reminders with cron jobs.
